If you don't want to root your phone, you can disable facebook app manager using the play store. in the help section, type "delete or disable apps" then when you enter the page, press on "tap to go to application settings". Miui global dev 8.1.25, the latest dev will not recognize the imei number of the respective device if these apps are uninstalled, leaving you with the experience out of an unstable ui. this certainly looks strange as it seems that the xiaomi smartphones are being run by facebook. There are 2 facebook apps on my phone: facebook app installer and facebook app manager, you can disable manager but keep the installer for oculus to work. btw you won't see the installer until you enable system apps..
