Some says that it only takes 20 years for the shape of the game to change. The 2D resolution, for example, has now replaced by the sophisticated 3D model. Low fidelity graphic has been replaced by the new high definition resolution. What used to be known as a super computer, today is nothing more than console game for us.
Some gamer predict that in the year 2020 the game quality will be as smooth as photograph picture, at least almost the same. As we can see it in play station three which its HD 1080p full screen. And Sony followed this step by improving their next game with better graphics design.
On one side, this competition of graphic design may lead the increasing of price because the better its graphic design is the bigger hard ware you will need. And the bigger hard ware will cost you more money.
Beside the design graphic factor, the shape of online computer game in the future will be also livened up with more interesting story line. Usually any game which appears with a strong story line will last longer and have more possibility to become best seller.
With a terrific graphic design and strong story line I think it is not exaggeration to say that the shape of online computer game in the future will be really fantastic and worth to wait for.
